before addressing your points, you need to understand that "Europe' is made up of several countries and not all of them act the same, however, most of those countries have agreed to fund a "Union" structure with several distinct missions...including 'Childhood Education', and a part of that involves programs that teach "Sex and Sexuality"...some countries pay no attention to this effort (e.g. the very conservative Catholic, Poland), while others (e.g. the more liberal, Netherlands) do.

It turns out that the Netherlands has excellent results when it comes to low rates of teenage pregnancies and STD infections compared to almost any other country in the world...which is a clear indication of more aware and more mature young adults...a very good outcome that everyone should want to see...and for decades they've begun their educational programs at a very young age...as emphasized in the link I provided...which again published your link.

Now, on to your misinformed and erroneous assertions...

I see this disagreement as...(ME) believing that education of children on a vital subject to their development as well functioning adults is a good thing, and (YOU) wanting to keep those children from ever being exposed to the material in a caring, professional manner...thus leaving them to all the misinformation that is rampant all around them. btw, while many families do a good job in this area, it is abundantly clear that tens of millions of families are either incapable of doing the job, or are abusive themselves...in either case, society NEEDS schools to ensure every child is properly educated.

It appears that you just don't have enough faith in others, who have worked their whole lives for the betterment of children, that they will do the right thing...that's sad.
