The DJIA has always been a reasonable, albeit simplistic, measure of the economy...in that regard,
the 'economy' has indeed rebounded from the depths of the pandemic in 2020...wouldn't have reached 36,000 if it was "Strangled" as Curly was suggesting...as for today's average, that has an awful lot to do with Putin's war and it's effect on the world economy...not Biden's or the CDC's efforts to control COVID.

After a little rummaging on Google (I don't do Twitter), I noted that the name Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was prominently mentioned as someone who was 'unfairly' ID'd by Twitter gatekeepers who should be muted on its platform...turns out that Dr. B is a co-signer of the 'Great Barrington Declaration', which in essence proposed leaving COVID unchallenged and somehow isolating 'the most vulnerable'so that "Herd Immunity" could be established...how that trick would be accomplished with a fast spreading pathogen, he doesn't say.
Having recalled the overrun hospitals in 2020 with refrigerated semi-trailer 'morgues' in many of their parking lots, that didn't strike me as a wise idea...later born out by the incredibly effective vaccines that kept hundreds of thousands of Americans out of ICUs and morgues...I'm guessing that the Twitter guardians saw this the same way...i.e. protecting the American public from someone who would cause them severe harm...not to mention utter chaos within our Health Care Systems...so...Good Call Twitter Guardians...and Thanks Very Much for whatever muzzling of Dr. B you were able to achieve...no doubt the other "reveals" fall into the same category.
As for Baron's "Non-Ignoring" comments...yes, you can understand journals...you just don't make a habit of applying that ability...again, witness the "MIT Report" fiasco...which continues to this day.
...and what actually happened at Twitter is...they did a great service to the nation by not acting as an amplified 'Disinformation Megaphone'...no spin...just facts...and to emphasize that, I'll again repeat that Japan not only had a high vaccination rate, but at least 85% of the populace got "Boosted"...PLUS, nearly everyone has been wearing Face Masks....Result?...a COVID death rate that is NINE TIMES LOWER THAN THE USA!...imagine what it would have been like if we adopted Dr. B's strategy...I, for one, shudder at the thought.
Watching you and a few others carry on like this, is like a window into the minds of folks like Rudy Giuliani, Sydney Powell, Mike Lindell and Gen. Flynn...fascinating.

As someone who refuses to read Dr. Risch's paper for bizarre reasons, you can not be taken seriously on this subject.
The Great Barrington Declaration was authored by three epidemiologists who are actual experts, and furthermore, their suggestions weren't even enacted. Yet you somehow have the ability to say their proposals (which again, were never enacted) wouldn't work and Twitter was right to censor them. Really? So now it's proper to censor legitimate opposing medical views? You might want to rethink that dangerous view. You definitely would have been among those scoffing at Galileo and Copernicus.
As for Japan, they were fanatical in preventing groups of people from gathering. And we know from the science gatherings of people were the main cause of spreading the virus.
Intelligence and Wisdom are not synonymous...that is why the Barrington Declaration wasn't accepted.

I do...because...
given that before the advent of vaccines, communicable diseases nearly always returned, and the success of vaccines subsequently (e.g. Smallpox, Polio, Measles, etc.) it was judged 'Prudent' by the world's health organizations to not 'gamble' on an untried strategy with no clear means of being able to protect all the truly vulnerable people...for an unknown period of time....so, giving hundreds of millions of people the impression that the Great Barrington Declaration was credible would compromise the public's health and well-being...
In places like Japan, not following the Great Barrington Declaration turned out to be a very good decision...would that our country had a leader at the outset who had the same wisdom and aggressively fostered the same behavior.
