This plastic would be resting comfortably in landfills if the environmental gurus hadn't demanded recycling of un-economically-recyclable plastic. That plastic was then exported to China in empty shipping containers heading back west across the Pacific. It was then dumped in the ocean by the Chinese. Well done, Sierra Club!
