Of course his “mistake” worked in his favor to make things sound 25% better. And how could we ever expect him to be complete in his report to the congressional committee?

High Sparrow is a pathologic liar.

It has been breathtaking watching the cult swarm upon Tony Fauci.

Dr. Fauci is a great American and one of our finest public servants.

Yet, the cult fed with constant nonsense from your alternative reality news sources and other whack job garbage, have called a “blanket party” to target Dr. Fauci.

I imagine Dr. Fauci is the face of competence, professionalism, integrity— the polar opposite of what your cult seeks in government.

Your pettiness and schoolyard bullying diminishes all of us. Strive to be better people. Strive to be better Americans.

The CDC provides over $2B in funding to more than 40 nations (including China) in order to

keep us - and all of our fellow inhabitants of planet Earth - protected from transmissible diseases...I'm not sure what point you're trying to make...

btw, I read your FOX link...have you watched the short video I posted recently of Dr. Fauci predicting a future pandemic back in 2017, along with the rationale for global cooperation?...and did you take note of Donald Trump 'defunding' our CDC representatives in China before COVID-19 emerged?...folks who just might have been on top of what was going on there at the very beginning...had they not been removed?...for what reason, I'd very much like to know...much more than why there's a $200K accounting question.

Edit: The attached link is for "context purposes only"...the $$ figures are not current, but the global funding program is.

Well let’s talk about what you and FOX TV have gotten right - nothing.

    There ya have it.

You’ve promoted Hydroxychloroquine as the panacea along with FOX TV and DJT and got it all wrong.

You’ve misdirected millions of the gullible and now you criticize others. How about you take stock in your bullshit first - and then you can talk about others.

Oh James. He lied again (unless you think he’s incompetent). Regarding HCQ....

.....we’ve covered it ad nauseum. Feel free to avail yourself of an education from my previous posts on the topic.

Regarding HCQ...wish you had kept your pre-edit version, but nonetheless, I'd like to see your

response to the attached article on the topic...all others should take note, and understand why a professional in the field is quoted saying..."Hydroxychloroquine is totally debunked. Not helpful and literally a joke in the ID community."

Shall I first accept your hijack of the thread as an acknowledgement that Fauci was caught lying?

...a few quick points before going to bed:

          1) I had merely listed from memory a timeline of my discussions with Jim on HCQ when I realized that i was allowing him to be lazy since we have discussed this ad nauseum already. I decided that there was no point in repeating myself, and it was best not to encourage laziness. Thus, I referred him to the "Search" function.

          2) Your unprofessional blog "article" reads like a teenager sneering rant. Aside from being well out of date now, it was quite wrong back them. David Gorski is well know for is "blogs", and i suggest you research him a bit before you decide to use him as your expert below
-It wrongly dismisses as an "outlier", the only completed prospective, randomized study with power on HCQ at the time.
-It further fails to addresses my point wrt HCQ at the time of the article...I was not saying in July 2020 that HCQ should be frontline treatment for COVID, I was instead arguing that it should be allowed as an off label treatment option - just as always has been done when other treatment options are not available or exhausted. There was plenty of evidence of safety, and enough study evidence to suggest at that time that HCQ was a reasonable off label option as described, particularly if the physician had explained the risks and benefits with the patient. I wanted the patient to be able to make this decision if they wanted - just as a cancer patient might make such a decision when other options prove unsuccessful. I also was arguing at that time against the false reports of scientific evidence that the drug was unsafe in the doses used (those were media driven ,isinterpretaion of data that used doses of HCQ FAR higher than recommended here in the US.
-since the time of this study, it has become clear that HCQ has a role in treating COVID patients in selected setting when combined with azithromycin and zinc, and I have linked this to you in the past. It MOST certainly should NEVER have been banned from off label use. Again, with what we know now, it clearly does have a role (in fact the very setting that Donald Trump found himself in). Trump was wrong in how he presented HCQ, but he was correct that it was a help in his setting. Hats off to his Notre Dame doctor who prescribed it to him.

Finally, that isn't an actual journal nor an actual study. It is an unprofessional opinion blog written with extreme bias and undoubtedly political agenda - and done so back in July 2020.

            In response...

            1) I submit that the accusation of 'laziness' is mis-placed, and the reason is found in reply to your second point...

            2) Had you taken the time to properly and fully review the article, as others do with your citations, you'd note that the author includes numerous links to the most respected medical journals in the world...i.e. "The New England Journal of Medicine" and "Science"...which buttressed his contention. Both of those sources have, as you should know, very high "Impact Factors" (74.7, and 41.8, respectively)...your chosen reference is not quite in the same league, with an "IF" of....wait for it..."1.6"!...you know...just above "Blog Level".

I do agree with you, though, that HCQ is better left to the dust bin of history.
