Glad to see your acknowledging what Smith’s efforts are all about.

Jack Smith will stick to facts and evidence, and the law, per his oath.

As to Hur's Report, the bottom line is that Biden mishandled classified material. Biden fully cooperated and it was determined that Biden never acted with any criminal intent.

But, Biden's mishandling of the classified material placed him in a position that demanded the appointment of Special Counsel. Consistent with long standing precedent, Garland appointed a prosecutor from the opposite political party. Hur laid out in detail the reasons why he did not find a basis to warrant criminal charges, juxtaposing the righteous basis for why Trump was criminally charged on much different set of facts.

Again, to Garland's credit, he didn't generate a spinned "summary" for the public --unlike Barr following Mueller Report. Hun's report was shared with the American public.

Although it is arguably not within Hun's charge to share his observations about Biden's memory or grasp or age, .... Biden can only point to himself for mishandling the material in the first place.

Biden's age has been an issue since he took office. Biden's record and accomplishments are impressive by any standard. Biden does not have dementia. Thank God he is our President. But, Biden's command and experience have not translated well among the electorate. The polling has been consistent. It is Biden's age, and the optics surrounding his age, that has clearly become Biden's #1 obstacle in getting re-elected.

Biden needed to put the nation's best interests ahead of his ego, and announced this summer that he would not seek a second term. It may be too late at this juncture.

That seems pretty fair.

I think the SC took a few gratuitous shots, but overall his memory is an issue. Of course those that criticize him by and large have no answer for why the stable genius said in a similar type interview that he didn’t remember over 30 times. While it’s getting little attention, the SC did go into great detail why he didn’t think they could prove criminal intent, including Biden’s full cooperation. The two tiers of justice peeps need to STFU. Garland did himself credit here unlike Barr.

Thanks for the laugh. Biden just mishandled and Hillary just broke protocol.

In terms that may have ended his presidency, the SC pointed out why there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prosecute Biden. Hillary, I agree with you on, and said it at the time.

Any special counsel who has the mindset of not wanting to press charges will of course come up with "valid" reasons not to do so.

I don't need to read the report to know lawyers can rationalize any position

It’s a 2 tiered system you know. If anything rebuts that crappy, it’s this report.

Late night candle burning. Hunched over a small desk jotting down today's talking points. Garbage can full of failed ideas that will never see the light of day. That's what his life has come to and he isn't the only D lefty here living that same truth. Pretty hilarious.
