Finally...it's starting to get real for The Donald...let's see, how many years did his bag man have to serve for this crime?...3 years?...what would be appropriate for the instigator of it all?...hmmm...

Thank God for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democrats.
Don't forget that Bragg's predecessor, Cyrus Vance, Jr., was a highly educated and respected attorney (whereas Bragg is a hack polititian) who investigated these alleged crimes for five years before deciding they weren't worth bringing. AND, the standard in a criminal matter is "beyond a reasonable doubt." AND, all it takes to prevent a conviction is a single juror.
If I wanted to bring Trump down (and I would love to see him fall)... as an attorney this is not the route I would choose. This is the route chosen by someone who is running for office.
I always thought the civil fraud case should have been charged criminally. Even if the lenders were de facto co-conspirators, jurors would have no sympathy for Trump playing fast and loose under a set of bank loan rules versus jurors’ experience.
Last thing that the Orange toad wants.
It looks more and more like opportunistic politics by some second tier players.
The Judge was willing to move it for the feds but Orange has been able to delay those cases.
anymore, Donnie Boy. Will chuckle if this one turns out to be the first conviction and an unpardonable one.
say about the man who benefited from that request for silence...
married boyfriend has been payed a lot of money. He's a private attorney and I don't believe he has any criminal experience. Is this a guy you want to be the lead prosecutor in a case of this magnitude. If anything very unethical.

changed. IMO, no need for any other changes, either.
system, but the very least, this is totally unethical. At least Fani got sone nice vacations out of it.
citizen. You don't see anything wrong with everything I posted on this or the article I linked?
A guy with no criminal trial experience running the show and he happens to be the person in charge lover.
Aren’t you more concerned about the guilt or lack thereof of the presumptive GOP nominee.
any jurisdiction.
The other week you saying you were ok with the FBI lies during the FISA process is all I need to see who you are. Something like that should never happen, no matter who it's against. Trump, Biden or any other citizen. The FBI lied, got away with it and a few people got fired and that was it.
but I'm not going down that rabbit hole with you.
My OP addresses Trump's ridiculous attempt to delay his NY criminal trial on the basis that he's got 'Other Things' to attend to...is that your vision of how a well functioning Justice System should work?
me. It's a whole different scenario when witnesses actually get cross examined.
I've said many a times on here neither Trump nor Biden should be on the ticket. I know you won't say that.
administration is performing at a high level, both domestically and internationally...no reason for him not to continue for four more years...especially given his wealth of experience with all issues and players.
JB is 81 and walks stiffly...FDR couldn't even walk at all...and Warren Buffett is 93, still running Berkshire Hathaway with no reports of dementia...
Trump and Biden will be the choices...Putin wants Trump...Americans should want Biden.
prosecutor meet with the Biden Administration? Very odd.
In Georgia: A hearing is underway on motions to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the 2020 election racketeering case she brought against Trump. The motion is based on allegations she financially benefitted from a personal relationship with her lead prosecutor on the case. Trump and his co-defendants are also seeking to get the entire case dismissed.
