Biden refuses to meet with Speaker Johnson on border security and national security issues. It's
very clear why--he's a dementia patient. They can't expose him.

He already gave Johnson everything he asked for
Johnson has no interest in making a deal. Trump has ordered him not to.
It's time to stop pretending that the GOP actually wants to fix the border.
-
Level 2
If Johnson had any real authority fine, do it. But as he is a puppet of Orange, Biden is correct.
Flip the script on them. If Ukraine falls, they are squarely responsible for letting an ally get crushed by a tyrant. They also now have a good bit of skin in the game on the border for their refusal to compromise and do something about it, because it will deprive the cult leader (who orders them what to do) of an issue to run on. Make their MAGA toadyism hurt.

Level 2
Why would the GOP want to fix it? It's a hot topic and a loser for Biden. He opened the border at
the beginning of his term. He ran on giving free shit to every illegal that entered the country and followed through on the promise. Now, he has blue states bitching about the illegals he invited in and it's a GOP problem? This is typical Washington bullshit. Bitch about the other party not doing anything rather than do something about it.
It also doesn't help when you have a Senator saying the "illegals are the people we care about the most". These scumbags care nothing about the people they are supposed to represent.

OK, we’ll add you to the list of people who don’t REALLY care about the border
But boy, do you love to whine about it.
-
Level 4
Ok, but me not caring about the border or you caring about the border gets absolutely
Nothing done. It’s the scumbags in Washington who have control of things and do nothing to help. So, carry on from your ivory tower like you have a say on things.

Even if he were perfectly healthy it would make no difference.
Obam and his Merry Men are commited to a fundamental change to this country... and nothing will cause this better than an open border.

First time in his life the guy turned down Johnson.

Why would he meet with a Trump sycophant? Anyone that takes their marching orders from Trump..:
is automatically disqualified!

Joe was supposed to be a unifier of the country. We were told he would work across the aisle for
the good of the country. Is guess that isn't happening. But then again, we were told Joe is a decent, honest man.

Biden isn’t perfect or even a good president, but it’s a fact…
that any attempt he makes at working with the GOP would be thwarted by all the Trumpies. Johnson is an empty suit. If he were to pass bipartisan legislation, he’d be gone within a week. The GOP is a mess. I’m ashamed of being a republican. Reagan is rolling over in his grave. He’d hate Trump.

Washington is a mess. It's just not the GOP. The fact that the Dems cannot find someone to run,
outside of Joe is an embarrassment. Same with the GOP and Trump. They are all self-serving scumbags who worry more about special interest groups, not the people in their states. Being a politician should not be a lifelong job. Do your 2 terms and go find a real job.

You're absolutely ignoring real PRODUCTION on the part of JB that significantly benefits the whole
country...something that in 4 years Trump and his GOP cronies couldn't/wouldn't do...that's fact...stop making stuff up and deal with reality...right now, the MAGA controlled GOP is truly the Party of "NO".

So, you expect me to kowtow and walk lockstep to Trump?…
Ain’t gonna happen. Trump is scum. Those that suck his cock are scum. No offense if you’re a Trump cocksucker, of course.

Johnson most assuredly takes his marching orders from Trump and the Trumpies in congress….

Exactly. Johnson needs to first honor his oath of office, and become a serious Speaker.
That is, Johnson needs to show some integrity. Country before Cult Club.

Obvious that Orange is the real Speaker of the HOR. Such an embarrassment.
Good on Biden for giving them some of their own medicine.
This border thing is fast boomeranging on them as the Santos seat election shows. Not that the D’s have covered themselves with any glory in it. Why wait until it’s a crisis to do the right and moderate thing? This should have been proposed months ago, if not years ago. But the D’s have their own brand of radical cultist progressives who would have excoriated him over it.

"White House says Johnson is in a ‘dizzying border security tailspin’"...
from the attached article...
-------------------
“For months, Speaker Johnson demanded that Ukraine legislation include border security,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement. “But when given the opportunity to support the toughest, fairest bipartisan border bill in decades, he killed it – siding with Donald Trump and fentanyl traffickers over Joe Biden and the Border Patrol Union.”
------------------We've seen that House MAGA clown car in operation before...which has resulted in Mike Johnson as Speaker...he should meet with Nancy Pelosi for a few hints on how to do his job.

"the toughest, fairest bipartisan border bill in decades". What a big time lie.
Why would anyone believe anything coming from the White House.

Whoa!...a full sentence in the Message space...Bravo!...
...admittedly "Baby Steps", but don't stop there...can't wait for a coherent paragraph...or two...or more, explaining/defending your opinion.
