All citizens need to understand the limits placed on govt by the Constitution.
It isn't a true democracy in the sense that the elected, and especially at the Federal level, have limited powers authorized to them by the Constitution. Likewise limits placed by state constitutions. Elections are democratic, but the power of the elected is limited.
Whether those in the video understand the significance of a Constitutional Republic and limits placed on the Federal Government vis-a-vis citizens and states is another story, but CNN blasting them suggests that CNN either has no idea, or wants to convey the notion that power of elected officials is absolute. It's not.

What an amazing data point: 51 guys felt the need to sign a letter and issue it.
The D.N.I. at the time explicitly said that it was NOT "Russian disinformation."
But 50+ ex-swamp rats led by communist Brennan decided to sign and issue a formal statement that it was, while providing no evidence to support such a claim. In immediate unison, media and social media en masse blocked the circulation and discussion of the original source report to make sure it couldn't be discussed.
It's amazing.
What I find the most incredible is that they lecture us about democracy.
The claim is that this is the most important election in history, a vote for Trump is a vote for a dictatorship, where Rachel Maddow is going to be put in a concentration camp. The histrionics are something to behold. But yet, if you really believed that this was the most important election in history, you wouldn't provide Biden as the alternative.
