Decades of profligate government spending needs a lot of tough love.
Argentina has long been the poster boy for hyper-inflation caused by excessive government spending. AND inflation is the most regressive tax of all.
And in this country the city of Detroit is an example of what it takes to crawl back from the misery of government run amuck. For the first time in many decades the D is undergoing a real Renaissance.
