The refs let both teams play and did not hand out a lot of power plays.

Once again, Canada and McDavid come up short.
The frustration continues.

Granted, Messier is a moron. But look at McDavid's top 10 goals.

Then look at Crosby's and Gretzky's.

Finally, look at Lemieux's. 5 goals 5 ways. Scored on a faceoff. Scored with multiple guys mauling him. Put the puck in HOFer Ray Borque's skates. Canada Cup goal. Stanley Cup Finals goal against Minnesota.

Sorry, McDavid is nowhere near those guys.
