Who would have thunk it? Goldman Sachs claims a Harris win would be better for U.S. GDP.

Of course the morons all proclaim that tariffs aren’t a tax on American consumers, and that they don’t lead to higher prices.

Populism always arises when the working class feels undercut by foreign labor.

But tariffs are a panacea that never solves their problems.

Before the income tax, we ran the country on tarriffs. Not arguing; just stating a fact.

Granted, back then, the States did almost everything (we valued our system of Federalism back then), and the federal government just took care of defense and the border, and a few other things.

Now, everything has to be handled at the national level, or the media goes insane. Shooting in a school? National action required. Gays want to marry? National action required. Woman wants to have an abortion? National action required. All of those things are properly State issues.

The progressives knew what they were doing when they removed the States from the picture by passing the 17th Amendment in 1913. Ever since then, the national government has taken over more and more, because there were no representatives of the state governments in the Senate anymore to stop the national government from usurping their power.

of this global world today, you’re living in North Korea, i.e. produce little. Most of your GDP are from consumption.

No other banks have the power and influence that Goldman Sachs have on politics and finance. No other banks have so many their ex-employees working for government as Goldman Sachs have. How many frauds and penalties this banks have had in last 20 years? Nobody give a damn on what these special interest group's people say.

Maybe you should edit it to read Goldman. Your credibility would improve.
