Quite a few missiles hitting Tel Aviv. Not sure what Iran thinks it will accomplish. SMH.

Yep. It is not like Gaza or the West Bank. It is part of Israel now. Thus, CNN's bias.
No one would even notice if they didn't call it out. The image was a map of Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, and other countries. The Golan Heights are too small to even really show in the image, and not involved in any of the fighting, but CNN had to call it out and label it for some reason.

It’s not recognized as such by much of the world. In other words it’s in dispute like what Putie
has annexed from Ukraine. Did Alsace-Lorraine become part of Germany when they annexed it from France? Did the Sudetenland become part of Germany when Hitler just took it?

The US recognizes it as part of Israel. Israel's held it for almost 60 years, and won't retrurn it.
They treat it very differently than the West Bank and Gaza. Israel is willing to give up those territories, but not the Heights.
I just thought it was odd for CNN to go out of its way to call it out in such a huge map, when it is totally unrelated to the conflict. Seemed a bit anti-Israel.
No need for us to fight over this. Minor observation by me.

This evening's attack on Israel is only important for one reason, i.e., whether it becomes a pretext
for Israel to launch a strike on Iran that drags us along in the process.

I see no need for us to get involved. Israel need only attack Iran's oil exporting capabilities.
Iran is too far from Israel to mount a ground attack and they'd get slaughtered if they tried.

Very impressive video from CNN. Clear video,Israeli interceptors rising, closing on Iran incoming...
...getting very close to them and then blowing them up in the air (or trying to do so). Very impressive. Missiles are getting through, though.

And the important thing to remember is WE are defending Israel from those missiles,
but obviously our defensive capabilities are not enough to stop missiles launched from Iran from hitting Tel Aviv.
It's not like we are just sitting back letting Israel be fired upon. We are actually defending Israel, and we simply can't do it effectively.
