When Israel responds to the Iranian attack, Sleepy doesn't want them to hit nuclear sites. Why?

Iran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles indiscriminately targeting civilians. Israel now has a free pass to target Iran's development of nuclear weapons. Why would sleepy oppose that?

Because escalation is not in the US interest

And escalation is not in our interest there too.

Which is why we don’t share MRBMs with them.

That's a very selective usage of the term, I give you credit for creativity.

How is that an escalation?

It's ok to hit an Iranian airbase but not a centrifuge? Ridiculous.

How could it not to be considered an escalation?

And yes, hitting nuclear sites is different from hitting airbases in Syria.

Thread Level: 5

They are going to hit targets in Iran, not Syria.

You know this. It is inevitable. What is the difference between an Iranian airbase in Iran and an Iranian centrifuge in Iran? Here’s the difference, the latter target might set their nuclear program back. These strikes are going to occur. Why would we not be in favor (or at least neutral and silent) of a free chance at wrecking Iran’s nuclear program? It makes no sense.

Thread Level: 6

Because it will not “wreck” their nuclear program

And it would be a declaration of war against Iran, and a major escalation. And, therefore, not in our interest.

Sorry if this is too complicated.

Missile attack on Iranian centrifuge in Iran: declaration of war.

You make no sense.
