Milton was no joke. Our little area north west of Tampa came through

Ok. We still have power and no damage. I wish I could say the same for the surrounding counties. Lots of flooding and damage along the coast and across the state.

Going to be a long road to recovery after these last 2 but it will happen.

So glad to hear it. It's the effect of so-called reverse storm surge that leads to less damages. But

It may be just temporary. Milton is so powerful that it suck water out of Tampa bay which created a reverse storm surge. From some camera the bottom of the bay can even be seen. The water will come back, hopefully in a less violent way. So, still be careful, Tampa.

We were lucky in carrollwood. Didn’t lose power but lots of rain and wind. Glad to hear u r well
