Ok. We still have power and no damage. I wish I could say the same for the surrounding counties. Lots of flooding and damage along the coast and across the state.
Going to be a long road to recovery after these last 2 but it will happen.
It may be just temporary. Milton is so powerful that it suck water out of Tampa bay which created a reverse storm surge. From some camera the bottom of the bay can even be seen. The water will come back, hopefully in a less violent way. So, still be careful, Tampa.
and not send it overseas.
Cat 3 is no day at the beach. But they hyped Cat 5 all week to get viewers amped.

Local authorities credit residents’ overwhelming cooperation, particularly those living on the coast, resulting in minimal loss of lives.
