I have no real backstory to this tune other than hearing it on someone's transitor radio on WLS.
I was hanging out with my hippy high school friends at Miller Beach in Gary. It was the first time I heard that guitar riff and I was hooked. Add Burton's vocals and you have a great rock song that stands the test of time.
