And is there a toxic femininity?

And the bigger question: what causes this?

Genetics? Unbalanced parenting?

Fascism has been co-opted by the woke left, just like racism. I has lost all meaning.

Disagree with someone? Scream fascist. Scream racist.

They are good, loyal dupes.

Agree, and democracy is losing its meaning rapidly as well.

Let’s use Merriam Webster definition to define fascism.

Toxic masculinity is a term for bad male behavior.

Though djt is toxic, he is also a fascist.

Ok. Patriarchy might be closer. But we have a severe gender divide and one side is called fascist.

Maybe it's a ven diagram and there are some overlappings.

He hasn’t been called a fascist because of some inflamed gender divide. It’s because of his

statements and ideas. He wants to use the military to stop free speech, imprison his opposition, do away with democratic institutions, hire only loyalists and corporate sycophants in places of national policy making.

These aren’t assumptions, they’re based on his words and actions.

institutions like elections, free speech, arrest those who speak out, use corporations to make policy decisions, hire loyalists in key positions like Eileen Cannon as Attorney General, Steve Bannon as head of treasury, hire Navarro as FBI head and do on.

Again, you're largely describing the last 4 years vs the prior 4.

"No one enacts fascism, it's applied" - Policies are the application of philosophies, which is what I asked about. If Trump is a fascist as you claim, you would expect that in his 4 years as president you'd be able to point to actions that are/were fascist in nature.

"Ask the military to arrest citizens" - reminds me of Joe's speech that 2nd amendment folks would need F-16s.

"free speech" - the Dems are the worst on the 1st, 2nd and 4th amendments. Joe tried to implement a ministry of truth.

"arrest those who speak out" - Matt Taiibi's visit from the IRS and Tulsi being put on a terrorist watch list.

"use corporations to make policy decisions" - the revolving doors between the military contractors, pharmaceuticals, etc. The master of corporatism, Dick Cheney, endorses Kamala and she is "honored" to have the endorsement. RFK Jr is leading the charge against corporate capture.

"hire loyalists in key positions" - show me an administration where that isn't the case.

I've pointed out the authoritarian "fascist" actions I have seen from the Democrats over the last 4 years.

Give both parties credit. They both crafted messages that lock up either of the two genders. My hunch is that there are a few more women who are less emotionally-governed open to the GOP than men who find the policies of the Dems appealing, but I could be wrong.
