FDR, JFK, Bill Clinton - what do they have in common?

All had mistresses while holding the office of the President. All Democrats. Trump is often condemned for previous acts but all three of these Democratic Presidents performed adultery while being the President. Some of these acts in the White House itself. Let’s also not forget about Teddy Kennedy, not only did he have an affair but refused to save his intern when he was driving drunk, ran the car into a lake and then ran home to the Kennedy Compound as she drowned.

It amazes me how 1 party is fast to throw stones at Trump but never recognizes its own failures. Many powerful men have affairs, non disclosure agreements but Biden’s DOJ took the last year to weaponize it. The Hypocrisy is blinding.

They are all further to the political right than the Democrat Party is today.

FDR's racial internment camps are constitutional? Would you say same thing if Trump set them up?

Fresh lettuce. Fresh towels.

I am begging Trump 2.0 to go full speed ahead on Mass Deportation. It will greatly help in 2026.

It’s not, but FDR was hardly respectful of the Constitution in putting American citizens in

Internment camps while stealing their property. Nor was the later great champion of Constitutional rights and then GOP governor of California, Earl Warren. Those are facts and a great stain on his legacy.

I am not going to let a piece of shit like Ned suggest that Trump’s plan to intern illegal immigrants makes him FDR.

The internment of the Japanese during WW II is indeed a stain on American values, but what Trump and his racist agenda are about to unleash, is not 1940s WW II.

It is just about cruelty and hatred.

Not disagreeing, but FDR could play fast and loose with the Constitution when it suited his needs.

And the Japanese-American internment is one of the biggest stains ever on our civil liberties record. Shit they were our fellow citizens and we locked them up because of their ancestry only. Completely disgraceful. None of that justifies or compares to Orange especially during wartime. We need to own it when lecturing other nations, and I don’t believe FDR embraced the Constitution when it counted.

your willfully blind defense of this creep. Interesting that they were close pals at that time.

They would be decleared to assault 280 women had they run today and got Trump treatment.

Both womanizers wouldn't survive politically under this me too movement. For money or for fame, many women they touched would play victim card.

Use today's standard, if you kiss women cheek, that's assault, not just improper action. If you really want a fair apple to apple contest, how do you know clinton didn't assault women more than Trump?

Thread Level: 10

Go away loser. Orange’s were real assaults. He described his style in the AH tape.

List of people in politics that I think have actual principles and are in it for more than just power (this will be controversial, it is just my opinion and off the top of my head):
Bernie Sanders
Joe Manchin
Kyrsten Sinema
Tim Walz
Tulsi Gabbard
RFK Jr
Vivek Ramaswamy
AOC and the squad
Dean Phillips
Doug Burgum
Any 3rd party candidate for president (because you have no shot at actually winning)
