An evolved nation ought not be in the killing business.

Commuting 37 death sentences is a bold step. Let us pray another President and/or Congress commutes the remaining 3.

Have handled several capital cases at trial and post conviction levels.

Only one client preferred to die vs life imprisonment. He is the one who was executed. He and I discussed movies in his last hour.

It was like he was going to a routine dental appointment.

The rest of my clients were genuinely relieved to be rescued from a death sentence.

They should have no views, period. There is a reason they were given a death sentence and it should

Be handled quickly and as a pay per view event. Why waste tax payer dollars on a monster?

But I do agree with avoiding the killing of all life - it is precious from the moment of conception until death.

Conservative allies, must be reminded that even guilty life is precious.
Liberal adversaries must be reminded that even innocent life is precious.

You avoid the abortion question because you want to maintain your convenience. At this stage of your life, you’re trying to maintain other’s convenience over the right to life. Your motives are known only to you, but regardless, you do know better.

Human life is imbued with a soul at the moment of conception. It is there before brain development, human form development, and personality development. Human life is also imbued with a soul after mortal sin - even the intentional taking of a human life. That is why we must not take their lives and hope&pray that those who have done this - whether those pardoned for taking human life in prison or those who had or facilitated an elective abortion, or whatever other scenario where someone intentionally takes a life wrongly can seek forgiveness and salvation. St Paul did just that.

with this all day long. The guilty life took it upon themselves to take an innocent life. There has to be a deterrent somewhere in our system. Putting the burden on the taxpayers to pay for a monster the rest of his life is unacceptable. If someone doesn't have enough respect for a life, why should his life be spared?

I think public executions should be a choice. Make it a pay per view event with the proceeds benefitting the affected family or families.

Wish death, as conor did, on unvaxxed, low-income "rubes," cheer on dropping bombs on Russians, and defend the vivisection of unborn children, but some miscreant who sodomizes an infant to death, his life must be spared. Jesus commanded it, after all.

If a female contemplating abortion asked my opinion, I would encourage her to strongly consider adoption if she truly felt she was incapable to provide the child with the requisite love and care.

If serious life threatening medical issues were afoot, I would encourage the female to consult with her doctor.

Of course, my opinion would not include the threat of imprisonment should she decide to terminate her pregnancy.

....he said that he personally found no fault with him and he asked the Jews to consider an alternative. They would not, and Pontius Pilate said, "Well, I am not a Jew and this is a jewish concern so who am I to stand in the way of it>? I wash my hands of the affair".

That is precisely the same argument that you make about women and abortion.

for decades...from the attached Policy Statement on Abortion by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists...
-----------------
ACOG supports every person's right to decide whether to have children, the number and spacing of children, and to have the information, education, and access to health services to make these decisions. Individuals seeking abortion must be afforded privacy, dignity, respect, and support, and should be able to make their medical decisions without undue interference by outside parties. ACOG advocates to improve access to full-spectrum reproductive services, to integrate abortion as a component of mainstream medical care, and to oppose and overturn efforts restricting access to abortion.
----------------

btw, most recently ~80% of OB/GYN Residents are women...who definitely speak for the women they serve.

His aides or whoever is controlling him are running this country and of course, being the hypocrite that you are, you totally support this. But sure, Joe made this decision to commute the sentences that juries passed. Some of these monsters killed kids. Again, you’re good with paying to keep these people alive. You’re not a serious American.
