“Donald Trump the ordinary citizen, Donald Trump the criminal defendant” would not be entitled to the protections of the presidency, Justice Merchan asserts.

The Court’s bottom line is that Trump’s status as a President Elect shields him from the seriousness of the verdict.

But, he will assume office wearing the scarlet letter “F” for Felon.

Not a single person not named Donald Trump would be charged, put on trial or convicted of this offense. Andrew Cuomo and many others have said this. It's the "Three Felonies a Day" situation of targeted politically motivated prosecution. It's "lawfare".

So, getting back to why you lost: a majority of the American people are fed up with being gaslighted. They don't care that Trump was convicted in a sham trial, they don't care that he is a shitty human being, they don't care that he lies, because the alternative is demonstrably worse.

You seem quite upset that you abused the US justice system to prosecute a political opponent, and it didn't work. You should be upset that anyone can abuse the justice system like you did.

sentenced to prison for doing DJT's bidding. The Attorney for the SDNY at that time, Geoffrey Berman, wrote a book explaining in detail how "Main Justice"...i.e. Trump's AG...subsequently had all references to "Individual-1" in the charging document eliminated. That "Individual-1" was known to be Donald Trump...the one who ordered Cohen to pay Stormy Daniels,...then wrote each and every check to Cohen.

Without DJT's "Lawfare", the SDNY would have pursued him, convicted him, and sentenced him to even more prison time than Cohen. Justice demanded that this case be brought against a true FELON...and Bragg, thankfully did just that.

Not sure why you support such trash...since he's not only a Felon, but a Rapist...a Serial Fraud who grifts his own supporters (Trump U., Trump Foundation)...and to top it off, an Insurrectionist against our Constitutional Democracy ("War Room" at the Willard Hotel prior to Jan. 6th, with Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders there who subsequently pleaded guilty to "Seditious Conspiracy"). Any ONE of these behaviors would end the political career of a Presidential candidate, but for a few percent of the voting population not having the moral/ethical fiber to care.

...now as for the future, it's a safe bet that the country will be worse off domestically and internationally with him as President. Republican Congresspersons and Senators sense this too and have their eyes on being re-elected, so it'll be interesting to see how much they support him. As for J.D. Vance, he's Peter Thiel's puppet and therefore a tool of the "Broligarchs". How do you feel about the U.S. ditching its Constitution in favor of a Plutocracy?

It doesn’t mean that the jury’s verdict was meritless or that Hunter’s guilty plea to tax charges was invalid.

It simply means that Hunter’s criminal wrongdoing has been formally forgiven by the President of the United States.

Trump may exercise that same power given to him in our most recent election for those who pled guilty or were found guilty in connection with January 6th. See attached.

Contrary to cheeks’ foolhardiness, the outcome of our November election doesn’t mean the January 6th rioters were unfairly or unlawfully convicted.

prosecution for Hunter.

What that has to do with Trump's conviction, only you would know.
