have friends that live in Florida who 'leave' the state from June through September to be in the much more comfortable environs of Lake Tahoe...I get that you're searching for a way to excuse DeSantis, but you need to find a more logical train of thought that explains why his state is experiencing a surge in COVID hospitalizations while others are seeing decreases.

You have opined with regularity that FLA under DeSantis was the model for dealing with COVID-19...as opposed to the leadership of your own governor...so tell us, why is COVID ICU bed usage rising quickly in Florida, but going down in Michigan, during the same most recent time period? (this should be an exercise in creativity).
