Do you think the people in Trump's orbit tell him wrong how tariffs work or is he that stupid?

Whelp Chuck Grassley is educating him today on the importance of potash to farm families and that we
get the vast majority from Canada. We need to feel the pain of this, especially all of the MAGA morons in Iowa and elsewhere who voted for this clown show.

I'm actually curious to see what happens.
There are no winners here, just degrees of losing. But if the tariffs stay in place or widen to other other countries, we're going to experience an economic experiment in real time that will fill all sorts of future economics class curricula.

I don't think we collectively have the stomach to run the experiment.
Prices on imported goods will be felt immediately, domestic manufacturing takes years to ramp up.

Probably not. I'll be sad for all those unwritten text books.

Ask your broker...Futures:..S&P (-1.89%)...Dow (-1.42%)...Nasdaq (-2.40%)...he/she will fill you in.
There is absolutely no logical reason for Trump's "Strategy"...unless he's trying to make his 'Master', Vladimir Putin, happy.
