WSJ had a piece on sea routes over the Arctic, near Canada & Greenland, increasing in importance.
Both commerce and military imporantance.
Probably behind a pay wall, but entitled: See How Russia Is Winning the Race to Dominate the Arctic.
One wonders if Trump is actually ahead of others, identifying key risks to the US, such as China control of Panama, and Russian control of the Arctic. The facts are evocative our own encirclement tactics vs. the USSR during the Cold War.
