I’m just curious. I welcome all colloquies, with anyone from anywhere . I just want to know what is behind some posts?

Many (most?) of my favorite posters - Frank, Conor, DFH, PBChad etc - are not ND alums. Some fellow
alums - with many exceptions like you, Ty, Chris etc - seem to be among the least rational on this site.
That said, many others are not included as I have no idea whether they went to ND or not.
This board used to be a cool place to hang.
Politics didn't dominate the board space and we had a more diverse variety of posters. However, the mods banned several of the funnier guys; and, then Trump absolutely broke some people on here, starting 2015. The incessant political bickering drove off several good posters. Then, COVID came along and that introduced the board to some real turds, and further broke some people.
Yet you still give us the err pleasure of the grace of your company from time to time. How lucky we
are.

Real subway alumni know that without ND and it’s grads they have nothing to root for.
Subway alumni are welcome to jump on the bandwagon.
Most are good people.
But they should never think of themselves as more important than the University and its graduates.
The same can be said about alums. Don’t make the mistake and think you’re any better than sub alums

I agree with this, and I think he does too-no one on either side should think that way. I suspect
that Hensou may have someone particular in mind.
I’ve been a subway alum. I’m a grad. It’s a lot harder to be a grad.
My journey to ND started in the 8th grade. I busted my ass to get into ND and I busted my ass to graduate on the Dean’s List. Only 1500 men in the world get an ND ring every year.
In terms of ND accomplishment we are not equal.
Subalums who accuse grads of arrogance are insecure.
Get a ring and we’ll talk.

Are you talking about those who aren’t alums? In that case, I believe the founders and operators
shouldn’t be posting. The site is for those who are fans of ND football, which if you follow, you know go well beyond actual alums of the school.

Personally, I'm flattered that others appreciate what my Alma Mater represents, both as a
University and how it runs its sports programs...WELCOME.
