"Republican Urges Trump Admin to Admit Afghan Allies During Refugee Freeze"...
...listen to the AF General...-

Level 3
Let me ask an even more obvious question...what process are you talking about?...btw, this action
by Trump is just a continuation of his 'policy' from the first term...i.e. show the world how untrustworthy the U.S. can be when it comes to having our allies' backs. Just the sort of thing Putin wants him to do.Link: https://www.npr.org/2019/05/01/718927688/no-visas-for-afghan-and-iraqi-interpreters

The U.S. took in over 125,000 Vietnamese refugees after that war...from the jump, DJT did all he
could to stifle any Afghani refugees coming into the U.S...even his original deal called for a May, 1, 2021 withdrawal...with no time for Biden to get needed visas, checks, transportation to the U.S. and other countries, etc....Fortunately, JB negotiated a better deal and ended up getting over 180,000 Afghanis evacuated to many countries, including the U.S.
Trump is an incredibly sick individual and a perfect tool for Putin, who wants nothing more than to destroy his greatest adversary...US. He thanks you for your vote and support of Donald Trump.Link: https://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/vietnamese-immigrants-united-states-5

Level 8
How long did it take to take in 125K Vietnamese refugees?
And how many administrations did it span?
These are honest questions.
-
Level 9
The honest answer is that Trump doesn't want ANY refugees, or he would have already expressed
that desire...it ain't happening...and that's a shame/stain on the United States we've been so proud of.-
-
Level 11
He is very sincere in his efforts to avoid genuine discussion.
(no message)Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.-
Level 12
Go back and read GOP Rep. Michael McCaul's comments...as well as the AF General's...plus others...
...the "Process" has already been completed for transit of refugees to the U.S...Trump has stopped it.
This may be tough for Cheeks to comprehend...but I'm surprised that you don't see the problem either...what's wrong with you guys?

Level 11
I couldn't be more sincere...nor the Republican I referenced at the top of this thread...
your deafness to the refugees' plight is a problem only you can resolve.-
-
Level 13
Why don't you comprehend that the "Process" has already been completed...all the vetting is over and
the plane "reservations" made...Trump has stopped all that. Time isn't the issue here, Cheeks...is this too hard to digest?
Maybe you missed this from the OP linked article..."Trump administration cancels travel for refugees already cleared to resettle in the US,
-
Level 14
"Refugees already cleared to resettle in the U.S."...Trump's transition team has had 3 months
to verify...ask them...did they have 'cause' to stop the resettlement...what are they not telling us?...direct your question to those who have had more than enough time to explain their stoppage...but I haven't seen anything as yet. -
Level 14
It also noted "paused for 90 days." I don't trust vetting by prior admin and you won't answer cheeks
straight-up despite having starting the thread. No more calls to Holly for kitchen clean-up. RIP old faithful companion.-
Level 15
Even a GOP Representative is upset over the sudden stoppage of vetted and cleared refugee
resettlements...and he knows more about this than you.
Again, recall that Trump did his best to stifle any refugees coming into the U.S. from Afghanistan or Iraq...over the intense objections of those U.S. Military Veterans whose lives were saved in both wars...
Whose side are you on, JH?

Level 15
Your question is Moot...the refugees have already been cleared for entry into the U.S...Process over
...not sure what you think will change here by continuing to ask an irrelevant question, but you be you and carry on...-
Level 16
Just because you don't know the answer doesn't make my question irrelevant.
What have these desperate refugees been doing for the last 3-1/2 years?
