It is curious that wasteful spending doesn't bother you, but returning tax money to tax payers has you livid.

At least with the 2nd option, families will be able to better prepare for the financial collapse of the United States due to the national debt.

I'm good with no tax on tips and social security, because those people are struggling the most. Unsure about overtime, that could too easily be abused in my opinion. And then eliminate all deductions, all of them.

Sounds good. Tax system should be about revenue collection, not behavior modification by deductions

Because there are easy ways to make it progressive by exempting food, shelter, and such. It should be simple, somehow we've made it crazy complicated.
