For one who watched the Miracle on Ice live I was unenthused by our team v Canada.
I don’t like us trying to bully and taunt our neighbor.
In the 60s we were referred to as the ugly Americans and we seem to be reigniting that sentiment culturally

Canada is US's close ally, Trudeau isn't- he's been sent packing. Their behavior over
BaronVonZemo 64331 poststhe past several years wrt border crossings, fentanyl crossing, Chinese military presence, and abusive tariffs are not a justifiable behavior of a "friend". Trudeau is a hard core fascist at heart. He shut down free speech and emptied the bank accounts of people who spoke up or objected. He forced vaccinations without proof (as did Biden), he brought in troops to beat down protestors in Ottawa.
Those are being addressed because Trump got tough and called them on it. They will fix it (next Fall, not on March 9 when the Liberal Party merely picks Trudeau's temporary replacement before elections next October).. And we will fix the trade inequities as we are with the world with a Reciprocal Tariff Policy.

Thought our guys played fine. Missed Matt Tkachuk and Binnington played out of his mind.
Great goal scoring set up and shot in OT by Canada and the best player out there. Game could have gone either way.
Enjoyed the mini tourney. Brilliant idea.

Count me as one who doesn't give a rats ass about what other countries think of us. They will still
take our money without a thought of paying anything back only to bitch about us later.

What do you think Canada receives as payment annually from the US?
