Canada is US's close ally, Trudeau isn't- he's been sent packing. Their behavior over
the past several years wrt border crossings, fentanyl crossing, Chinese military presence, and abusive tariffs are not a justifiable behavior of a "friend". Trudeau is a hard core fascist at heart. He shut down free speech and emptied the bank accounts of people who spoke up or objected. He forced vaccinations without proof (as did Biden), he brought in troops to beat down protestors in Ottawa.
Those are being addressed because Trump got tough and called them on it. They will fix it (next Fall, not on March 9 when the Liberal Party merely picks Trudeau's temporary replacement before elections next October).. And we will fix the trade inequities as we are with the world with a Reciprocal Tariff Policy.
