80% voted against the neo-Nazi party favored by Musk and Vance! Has Trump released the Kraken… err, Hun?

You're becoming a Tyrone style propagandist. AfD doubled its voting gain from 10% in 2021 to 20% now

And is becoming the 2nd largest party in Germany only in its 12 years short history. Your translation is 80% German against them. From your logic 84% German against current party in power and 71% against incoming party in power.

AfD is far behind where Hitler was when he took over AND all the other parties despise them.

AfD caters to the basest Germanic instincts and everybody knows where that would lead.

It's power base is entirely in the former East Germany... where there is still a lot of support for Soviet style repression.

They are doomed to being a regional phenomenon..

"In the case of Germany, the AfD remains shut out of national governments by a political “fire wall” set up against it, with the country’s other major parties already having pledged to keep it out of power."

Germany is a lost cause, regardless of which party holds power.

The fallout of Merke's disastrous tenure will linger for years.

They may even have no government. Their #1 winner refuses a coalition with #2 winner to

form a majirity government. If they look for the loser Scholz's party to form a majority government, the election, for most part, will lose its meaning. The reason why Getmany had an early election is because people were not happy with Scholz's government.

Thread Level: 2

No. Hard Left Social Democrats were voted out/ center-Right CDU won/& Strong Right had record gains

You seriously need better news sources. Out of many possibilities, I picked the liberal MSM AP article to convince you.

Anyways, hope to see you on the football board.

LOL. The German conservatives are virulent anti-populist... and would be serious RINOs here.

Germany moved significantly to the right which does not support your claim. You deflect.

Of course they won't be as conservative as the US - you can just look at the mess that they are in and know that, But still, your claim that this election suggests that Trump is alienating Germans is false, and in fact quite the opposite, the election results reflect that he has had some resonance even in Germany.

This is probably because you didn't understand what really happened which could well be from fake news headlines. Read the fine print.

Most European "conservatives" are equivalent to moderate Democrats in the USA.

I can't think of any prominent ones. Maybe Jared Golden in Maine.
