Inflation, mass wage suppressing immigration and DEI policies don't benefit these people. I know, I grew up below the poverty line and many of my childhood friends lived in trailer parks. Most people don't want to be on welfare and SNAP, especially young men (of all races). They want a good job with benefits that gets them out of the trailer park and into a starter home, then a better home, etc. Opportunity for advancement in life is the name of the game.

Dems lost the blue collar and lower middle class because they had 4 years of Trump to compare against 4 years of Biden. The further you go down the class hierarchy, the more people vote in their own self interests vs ideology.

Josh Shapiro is probably the best choice, but the electorate is wanting of non-politicians, so someone like Mark Cuban or Stephen A Smith would be the play.

No trailer park for me but a row home in South Philly. 6 kids plus my parents in a
3 bedroom, 1 bath row home. Definitely close to the poverty line but my dad worked 3 jobs and my mom 2. They were old school Democrats and now would be Republicans. I agree about wanting good jobs and benefits. They stressed hard work and earning what we got. We ate free cheese when we could get it and No frills canned goods. Simpler times without the bullshit DEI stuff that is a cancer on us now.

I was one of 5, we had 4 bedrooms and one bathroom. Luckily the shower was separate. But most of the time I was in the weight room by 6AM and had the luxury of free toilets and showers. After I did chores from 5-6...
1 sister and 5 boys. She had her own room and we squeezed in with 2 sets of bunk
