"Trump's Polling Problem: Voters No Longer Blame Economy on Biden"...

...from the attached article...
---------------------
A new CBS News/YouGov poll showed that Americans are increasingly critical of Trump's handling of the economy, and that more people are blaming him than a month earlier. It surveyed 2,410 U.S. adults from April 8 to 11.

When asked whose policies are more responsible for the state of the economy, 54 percent said they believe Trump's policies are more to blame. Only 21 percent said they believe Biden's policies are to blame. Twenty percent said both of their policies are equally to blame, while 5 percent said neither are to blame for the state of the economy.

This compares to a March CBS News poll, when 38 percent of respondents said they blamed Biden for inflation, while only 34 percent blamed Trump.

---------------------

GOP Representatives and Senators up for re-election in 2026 are no doubt feeling anxious and concerned. If things continue on this path, not only will 2026 be a problem for them, but 2028...and beyond, as well.

We need two responsible and rational parties...right now, it's the GOP not meeting the standards...choices need to be made...let's see if they're up to the task.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

It's not about me, Ned...stop deflecting. The GOP needs to step up and as Judge Luttig has said...

Well, you could have typed "Democrats"...or "Liberals"...or several other terms beside "You" ;-)

...btw, YOU seem to be getting further and further away from Trump's Polling Problem...could that be behind your post?

I'd ask you again about your thoughts on the matter, but we all know that's a fool's errand.

Fortunately, the American Public appears to be wising up to the Dead End that Trump represents...as I have come to expect from dialogues with YOU...but then I'm a 'Glass Half-Full' kind of guy.

When Trump's at 15% and the Dems remain at 27% he'll be over the moon.

Whistling past the graveyard isn't sound strategy for a Conservative right now.

And I hate both parties on principal because it puts people into a binary mindset.

Thread Level: 6

I don't hate either party, and you shouldn't either. They represent the natural spectrum of people

everywhere...and when, with good and effective leadership, they coalesce around reasonable policy initiatives...like the bipartisan Senate Border Security and Immigration Bill...or the bipartisan Infrastructure Bill...or the bipartisan CHIPS Bill...the country can make lives better for ALL Americans, regardless of Political Persuasion.

Right now, we have ANYTHING BUT a "Bipartisan" President, who is on a Chaotic Rampage, and since he represents the Conservative minded members of our society, it's up to them to take the lead in reining him in.

As for Libertarians...I find them to be "Sideliners"...i.e. Weak and Unwilling to get in the arena and actually serve ALL Americans...all they do is pontificate about some Utopian Ideals, without ever having to answer for their theories. Take a look at the linked article by a former Libertarian.

I can show you a lot of parties that have resulted in the worst of human history, and I can show you individuals who have resulted in the best. Show me a collective that has changed human history for the better.
