You gave up Jesus for Donald. Disgusting. Slurp on.

People make fun of Trump, but Scott Bessent is on the right side of history.
And he has a combined IQ of the total amount of people on this board. I fully submit he’s smarter than me.

False. Yet hundreds millions of children have died from abortion because of voters like you.Rule #1
Tell me conor, have you been fomented past court martial behavior and into what you consider “justifiable violence”?

True...HIV/AIDS treatments are proven to save lives...Trump is denying those drugs to millions of
people, of which many are Children. Any medical professional should know this simple fact.
As for Abortion...there are nearly 6 million American women at any point in time who have endured forced or coerced pregnancies during their reproductive lives...plus the RCC has never taught that a fetus is a person...ergo, while women CAN produce Children, having Government FORCE those PERSONS to carry every such pregnancy to term is UNJUST.

The pendulum swings from green inflation reduction scams to faux token tax cuts
It’s all kabuki

Level 2
The tax cut extensions are real though, unlike the inflation reduction. Agree?

Since most corps used them for stock buybacks last time, why would you expect them to change
when they've got another chance to improve their executive compensations?

Level 4
True. Funny how people try to affect behavior w/ tax code, then forget tax code changes behavior.

Further, OMB counts the existing tax structure of past 7yrs as "tax cuts" in its deficit calculation
because now they won't be "sunsetting". At the same time, the OMB was not counting on the sunsetting tax structure in any of it's deficit planning. This is part of why the OMB estimate on this bill is overly pessimistic. Further, it does not add in the tariff income as they were never part of the calculations - this is a novel approach by trump in that regard.
Given what had to be done to get this necessary bill across the line to prevent a massive tax increase that would have crippled the economy, I think that it was a pretty decent result.

Hakeem Jefferies convinced Republican hold outs to vote for the bill.
Good job Democrats and Hakeem Jefferies! If any of them had any doubt, that idiotic speech sure persuaded them to vote yes.
-
Level 2
I’m not a fan of political grandstanding, but that speech wasn’t…
what flipped the GOP holdouts. It was the primary threats by Trump that did it.

Musk threatened them if they vote for itButI’d like any proof of personal threats beyond their
congressional seat that the wacky MSM media types are accusing Trump of doing….of course clsiming “anonymous sources”.
I’d be against that, but we all know that they are lying. The LGBTQ/communist Left are a bitter bunch

Hey DFH…..
Be honest, if the BBB had not passed, you’d be here mocking Trump for having no control over even his own party. You’d be citing weak leadership, etc., etc..
Either way, you were going to hit him because you hate him.

Level 5
Nope. If I thought the bill was a good thing, I’d give him credit like I did on the Iran strike…
Adding 3-5 trillion to the national debt doesn’t seem like a great idea. We shall see.
If I’m wrong, I’ll be the first to admit it, unlike Trumpers.

Well, blow me down. Btw, while I know what Mark Twain said about statistics, this is still
significant in my opinion.

We can only wait and see what the lasting ramifications of this bill will be…
I’m getting a tax cut, which I don’t mind, but at what cost to the poor? I’m worried about the cuts to Medicaid. Will the new requirements fuck people that should be or stay enrolled? I’m not as pissed as some regarding the corporate tax cuts. Hopefully this will create more jobs.
Again, I’m willing to wait and see.

Level 8
What spending would you cut? You said you didn't want to add to the debt.

Level 9
Hell, I don’t know. 5 trillion just seems like a lot to add to the national debt…
I wouldn’t cut some of the social programs designed to help the poor like Medicaid and SNAP. Maybe the tax cuts are a bit much. That could possibly reduce the expense of the bill some.

Level 10
If you take fiscal responsibility seriously, you must cut everything.
You can't just cut the other party's favorite spending. We are well beyond that.

Not only Primary Threats, but also Physical Threats to Lawmakers AND their families...this has been
verified by Sen. Lisa Murkowski's public statement, as well as from a Representative I spoke with directly.

Notice most of the violence comes from the left.
Where were you all with the threats on Kavanaugh and ACB? Two assasination attempts on DJT? What cowards did that I wonder? Setting Jews on fire and killing one of them. Shooting deaths of a young Jewish couple and an insurance exec. Near fatal shooting of Republican Steve Scalise. L.A. and Portand riots 2025. Mostly peaceful riots, arson, murder, insurrection, annd looting by Democrat supported BLM and antifa altar boys and girls. Even the J6 death was committed by a Democrat DC cop who already had a sketchy past. Now, what were we saying about threats and cowardly DJT followers?
-
Level 6
Where was I?…
I supported the confirmation of Kavanaugh and Barrett. I denounced the assassination attempt on Trump…in fact, I posted prayers on this very board. I’ve denounced all political violence. The guy that set the Jews on fire was a Muslim militant.
Not sure of your point, but what about Jan 6th riot? What about Charleston? The guy that killed the Minnesota state reps was a Trumper, regardless of what some on this board tried to make up shit saying he was a Dem.
You see? There is political violence from both sides and it’s all wrong. Don’t ry to insinuate that I didn’t say shit when violence was perpetrated against Trump. And yes, Trump’s followers are cowards…what I meant by that comment is that Trumpers blindly follow his orange ass supporting everything he does or says.
We're all born bald baby!-
Level 7
I said where were you all, not where were you in particular. .
I also said most political violence comes from the left. And it does. I also know that the left are all extremely angry and sensitive about everything. So, of course we shoud take every threat seriously, I also know that the left loves to pick and choose when to display their outrage.Chuckie and Auntiie Maxine are the left's leading cheerleaders when it comes to enticing threats against political opponnents.

You're peeking again, Baron...the truth is that Trump sows violence among his own followers,
as so dramatically demonstrated by his attempted Insurrection on Jan. 6th...and amongst his opponents for his cruelty toward anyone who isn't a native born MAGA, knowing that someone is bound to react violently to that cruelty...hence the assassination attempt(s).
Again, when GOP Lawmakers need to be intimidated politically and physically in order to vote for him and his policies you know that they have no genuine support...this sort of government will not be sustained.

Yep. Very helpful carving back medicaid expansion of Obamacare & ending Biden's ridiculous CC policy
We should all send him a thank you card.
Able bodied, healthy people will still be able to get it, but they will have work requirements to do it....which will stimulate the economy further and generate tax revenue to help defray the costs.
