stop assuming that you are capable of nuance, jim.

"How would FEMA have prevented this" is a rhetorical question meant to point out that it wouldn't have made any difference because it does not prevent these tragedies, but responds to them.

I nthis case, the state response was massive and immediate. FEMA agents from the Biden Adm would still be checking for yard signs to decide whether to lend aid or not (I also know that you don't get this reference either because you have the memory of a toad). Just be quiet and read along if you won't leave,

FEMA cuts played no role in this.
The response needed to be fast and the state handled it well...they are the nearby responders.
MY question was rhetorical.
FEMA cuts were actually the removal of waste, DEI, and abuse....Biden FEMA director emails admitted that they had their agents passing over homes in need of assistance with Trump signs for those in the Florida hurricane. So later, when Trump cuts this out, and your media feeds you the line that there were "FEMA cuts" without the context.

It isn't my love of Trump that is the problem here, it is your own TDS.

...and the old Biden Adm FEMA would still be checking yard signs to decide whether or not to render aid (check out the FEMA scandal and emails if you don't know about this one either). FEMA cuts were to corruption.
The state of TX responded faster than FEMA could even arrive. The cuts made for those longer term disaster reliefs where they can help will be better without the corruption and DEI hires that were culled...again...google the fucking story.and stop trying to dig your way out of this.

EVERY state’s local agencies are the first in scene in the event of disasters. FEMA comes in later. There could have been some fraud, but cutting 20% and freezing funds wasn’t warranted. Stop being an insolent cunt.

But 20%!!!! It can't be filled with 20% dead wood! This is the government, dang it! There is never much waste, fraud, and abuse there! Special Note: [THIS IS SARCASM]

Guess what?

Even without any cuts to FEMA, under the Biden Adm, these kids are just as likely to have been ot given aid for their suspected politics. Check into the Ohio train derailment response by the Biden Adm FEMA dept as well. It was rotten.
This case had nothing to do with FEMA. regardless except you want to make political hay at the expense of these kids. Fuck that.

of life, there will be a deep, and independent, investigation as to why the severity of the rainfall was not forecast and timely warnings not broadcast in these flood prone areas...Trump and Musk's chainsaw cutting of NOAA weather related personnel needs to be at the top of the checklist...as we just saw, such actions can have consequences...deadly consequences.
