When those of us questioned the rationale for unending US funding of a war with no hope of success (we wanted to push an unwilling Zelensky into trying for a compromise deal at the time),
those who wanted to continue funding Ukraine without limits or oversight argued that hardship pressure within Russia had a good chance of causing regime change in Russia even if victory was otherwise not possible. It was a claim voiced here and in the MSM.
It was absurd. But it seems it is only viewed as absurd by some when going in one direction.

If DJT were serious about stopping drug trafficking, he'd have immediately authorized high-tech
drive through drug (e.g. Fentanyl) scanners at all our border checkpoints...some are still sitting in warehouses, while production of additional machines has been halted. It's the CBP's #1 choice for interdicting drug trafficking.
