The winners list from the last four years:
2025: Rory McIroy
2024: Scottie Scheffler
2023: Jon Rahm
2022: Scottie Scheffler
All three came into their Masters wins on a roll and pretty much the betting favourite in their winning year. For this year, I think the winner is going to come from one of the 4 favorites - Rory, Scottie, Rahm and Bryson. My outside picks are Tommy Fleetwood, Xander Schauffele and Justin Rose. Winning The Masters requires course knowledge and experience. All 7 of these guys have it. I'll be shocked if the winner comes from outside this group.
I have no idea if we're related (probably something like 6th cousins) but left-handers have done very well there in recent years. And he hits it far enough to win.
My real pick is among Sheffler, DeChambeau, Schauflee, and Rahm. And maybe Rory. Great tournament.
Former major winner. A 1st and a 2nd on the Florida swing in March. Maybe as hot as anyone.
This is his 12th Masters. So far his best finish is T7 in 2016 so he's never really experienced being on the leaderboard on the back 9 on Sunday. He's the best of the rest I think.
Sorry. Meant to post below Connor.
Knowing so many of the participants will have Scheffler and Rory, I went with Aberg, Schauffele, MacIntryre, and Rahm.
There is a point system:
1 point – player makes the cut
2 points – player finishes in top 20
4 points – player finishes in top 15
7 points – player finishes in top 10
10 points – player finishes in top 5
14 points – player is runner up
21 points – player who dons the green jacket on Sunday afternoon
So, picking players who finish top 5 -- that very few pool participants will have -- can be very helpful.
Experience indeed matters at Augusta, as does putting.
Wouldn't surprise me if we see a first time winner. Aberg? Schauffele? Fiitzpatrick? Rose??
