Gotta love this...I have an extended family member who's a Vet and raises chickens & pigs...but you
have to pretend you haven't heard this ;-).. (This is no joke)...
family raised chickens (and pigs) when i was a kid. would love to have some now.

We have an egg bound chicken atm….
all of the usual tricks have failed. I was looking for someone who might have had some real experience with a tough case.
I won a purple ribbon for best in show for a Cornish game hen breeding pair with chicks.
I think I was 12. Sadly we were too poor for me to go to the state fair.

We have 14 chickens - I’ll never eat store bought eggs again if I have a choice - what a difference!
They are pretty cute, too.

Friend of mine had some. He lived in a pretty posh neighborhood; I was impressed he could get away with it. He must have had some very nice adjoining neighbors. Some people get uptight about things like that.
