A moment to remember the guy who deprived US children of a year of normal education

It was the social distancing guidelines that proved to be an insurmountable hurdle for getting children back into school quickly after COVID.

"In his testimony to the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Monday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and former chief medical adviser to President Donald Trump, said the 6-foot social distancing rule, which the CDC originally recommended, had not been backed by a clinical trial. This is despite constant claims that COVID-19 protocols were based on science.
These disclosures are damning and maddening for all of us who had structured our lives around these rules for years. As a result, millions of people suffered needlessly."

And let's not forget that Dr Fauci also bypassed US law against dangerous Gain of Function research to direct US taxpayer dollars to fund the Chinese Wuhan Lab that developed and leaked the COVID virus into the general population.
What a guy!

Fauci did more harm than any doctor in the history of the world, and it is not even close.

It certainly should have been disclosed that he directed funds to the lab that developed the virus*.

Just his knowledge alone that he had done that most certainly impacted his decision making.

(* for the inevitable from the board propagandist - The weight of evidence points to the lab in Wuhan that Fauci gave money to and hence trusted their scientists when he should not have, Since China is blocking efforts that could more decisively determine the origin, the logical assumption is that they are doing so because they know it will ultimately point to their culpability.)

Trump politicized the pandemic. You lemming fucktards leapt to his defense. MUST...ATTACK....FAUCI....MUST....ATTACK...FAUCI.....

Sure, the 6-foot rec was based on all prior corona viruses. BUT FAUCI SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!

shocking how quickly various professional journals dropped their normal peer review standards when pressed politically to do so.
Even JAMA and NEJM had to issue retractions as they tried to retroactively fix their reputations.
It is no wonder that we in the medical profession are having a hard time regaining the public trust.
Frankly, the govt also lost ground in we professionals view as well. Now, it is “trust but verify” when it comes to recommendations.

You have to remember that symbolism over substance is not a thing among logical thinking people.

I know that you want to fit us into your tidy stereotypes, but the real world doesn't work that way.

His own words on the social distancing guidelines that were forced on everyone, and were over and over claimed to be based on science.
Despite claiming over and over again that there was...in fact "follow the science" became a mantra.

They had faux findings produced and real research findings squelched. Now idiots call up the faux findings to defend their support of Fauci, but when he was put under oath, he admitted the truth.

Fauci's own testimony under oath cannot be misinterpreted or spun. He lied, and it cost hundreds of millions of people (if not more) dearly

...it created massive dependence on the govt of an entire new swath of the normally working population and small businessmen - something that the Dems always want to foster as it ties int heir votes,

4th - it allowed the Left to shut down churches and other organizations that it loathes - and it did so selectively as time went on (remember that it was governors and local bureacrats who got to decide on most restrictions),
5th - it allowed liberals to satisfy their natural desire to control the actions of others.
