Trump ripped up the deal instantly without trying to renegotiate new points like ballistic missiles, etc. Instead bombed Iran, threw the world economy into a flux only to get to the same place (maybe even weaker). Help me understand this...
If no inspectors are allowed into Iran, then we’ll just have to take their word for it.
The JCPOA tripled inspectors in Iran, and put cameras in lots of places - like their uranium mines - for 25 years. It was excellent in verification.
This deal is the least-worst option right now, so it’s the right thing to do.
But it is awful. And we have no choice - the mullahs have us (and the world economy) by the balls.
It was a reckless and unlawful waste of taxpayer dollars and resources.
We are worse off than we were before February 28th when war started. Our reputation and standing are significantly diminished.
