I've lived and traveled extensively abroud and this is by far the country for common folk
Our educated suburibanites (especially our women) have zero clue how much life is better here.
Hundreds of posts from people across the world who are absolutely effusive in their praise for the US. Consistently they cite:
- What they were led to believe is the polar opposite of what they have experienced
- America is BIG; big trucks, big skies, big food portions
- Universally they note how friendly and welcoming Americans are
- They are simply mesmerized by Costco, Target, Bass Pro Shops, Buc-ee's, etc
- Free refills blow their minds
- The Lawrence, Kansas adoption of the Algerian team is simply beautiful
'Merica!
Overheard one guy say to another, "every time I go to the United States, I go to Home Depot. That place is amazing."
Common people around the world are seeing one another as real persons and not the stereotypes the shallow media portrays us aa.
