The pledge of allegiance is a different story, I think people should be dragged through the streets and have their teeth kicked in if they refuse the pledge at anytime

Mellencamp & John Cusack notorious for not standing for Anthem or Pledge.
Bite the hand that feeds you, but whatever. You won't see this in the student section at ND. Especially the Sophomores. I guess the professors haven't made an impact yet.
They're also both well-known assholes.
Cusack is a notorious bad-breaker-upper and generally mean guy, particularly with his relationship with Neve Campbell. There are other stories about him.
