Deeper issue: Aren't Islamic and Communist agendas drastically incongruent?

Hate seems like an unhealthy manner to grieve.

I gather the 25th memorial tribute is a public event. Mamdani is the duly elected mayor of the city who suffered the attack. He represents the city. If his presence bothers them, these folks should stay home.

Well you hit on the reason yourself: because he sees himself and his "Auntie" as the victim rather

than those who died and those who lost loved ones. (rather than spending anytime focsing on those who died and their families in the past, Mamdani on how he perceives that he and his Auntie are looked at suspiciously after 9/11 as Arabs).

Very liberal of you.

(And of course, there is Mamdani's initial refusal to condemn radical extremist Hasan Piker's comments that Americans deserved 9/11 as an assembly man - he finally did so when Andrew Cuomo forced him into a political corner. Also there is the refusal of Mamdani to refuse to condemn the slogan "Globalize the Intifada", and the fact that Mamdani rapped to the lyrics praising the Holy Land 5.....all of these actions suggesting a support of extremism which also motivated the 9/11 attackers).

Quote from Knute's link from the organizers of the event:
"Supporters say the issue is not about Mamdani's religion or political affiliation but about ensuring the milestone anniversary remains focused on those who suffered unimaginable loss.
The 25th anniversary should remain centered on remembrance, unity, and an unambiguous rejection of the violence and extremism that defined that day," the petition states."
