James Lankford's speech on the Senate floor more than once, with all the other features...e.g. More CBP Officers...more ICE Officers...more Judges...more Fentanyl Scanners for Cars and Trucks (the CBP's #1 request for drug interdiction...what happened to them?)...etc.
But, bet your bottom dollar...Trump gave orders to kill the bill so that NO CREDIT went to Biden...and he still hasn't asked Congress in his 2nd term to do anything...just issues EOs that end up causing immense collateral damage...see the murders of Good and Pretty.
It was a worthless bill that was deservedly squashed.

Note that Trump has never called on Congress to pass a Border Security and Immigration Bill during his second term...ever wonder why? I can answer that...he knows it's a "Wedge Issue" that his followers will always follow him on...he really doesn't want it fixed...even when it causes grief for Red State Farmers, Construction Firms, Hotel Owners, etc...not to mention States with Fentanyl deaths for lack of High Volume Scanners still sitting in warehouses.
