On the positive side, both Scott and Sam recognize the failures of our current instantiation of Capitalism (Extremely High Wealth Gap)...as well as the Rampant Corruption going on in TrumpLand.

Toward the end, Sam muses about responsible...dare I say "Social"...Capitalism, and I agree with him. I'll add that I've experienced it while working under Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard...read Bill's book "The HP Way" to help understand...here's an example:...shortly after joining HP, there was a mini-recession with many Corps laying off workers...but Bill and Dave chose to keep everyone and just have one un-paid workday every two weeks, while assisting workers in getting any additional benefits coming to them. At the end of the recession, B&D announced that senior management would be last ones 'made whole' in their paychecks. It can be done, but it takes responsible leadership that respects every single member of Corporate Team. NB...they never promised that such a remedy would always be the case, but it showed Management would always do the best they could for everyone.
