We are just higher primates who have competed for territory (and women) since we descended from the canopy (see Nolan's latest flick).

Football is a modern sublimation (including the sideline fertility dances by cheerleaders) and is much preferred to war.

I guess that our mini-Zoltar Wolverine is not true blue.
