My home sweet home. It should shock residents but it doesn't.

Dateline.....Gary, Indiana..........this Region has been hit hard this summer with very severe thunderstorms, high winds and tornadoes. The storms this past week were the worst yet. Phones going crazy with take shelter immediately warnings. Siren warnings. The whole nine yards. Hundreds of thousands of residents and businesses without power for days now. Many won't have it till this coming Friday. Hot humid temps is the icing on the cake. National Guard is out on the streets in Gary. Feds sending help. Our utility company is NIPSCO. Those dudes have been working 24/7 fighting closed roads and continued rain to get service back.. A crew in a Gary neighborhood came under gunfire yesterday as some idiot was talking pot shots at their work trucks. Work was stopped, They now have continued repairs under the protection of state police and National Guard. Can this place deserve the rep they have any more than what they already have?
