Experience."...based on DJT's 'Very Good' relations with Kim Jong-un...and they send a 'very bad signal'...
How much more do we need to see before everyone realizes that our enemies own him.

I wish it were handled better, rather than as an apparently little snit, since he was mad at Seoul for refusing to help in his idiot war. I wish it had been, you know, discussed.
But turning down the temperature on the Korean peninsula is wise. Will it lower the deterrent? I don't think so.
Sure, I wish major foreign policy decisions weren't made the middle of the night, after consulting no one, and announced by social media post. But I support this.
I absolutely despise that Trump describes his 'very good relationship with Kim Jong Un' as a pretext for this action. Kim Jong Un is fucking evil - full stop. Shame on you, Donald. Yes, I get that Trump wants to degrade China's influence over North Korea. That is appropriate.
South Korea's moves invited this action. They need to be reminded who their daddy is. This move should have been more nuanced, but Donald does not do nuance.
These annual military exercises are necessary but our deterrence posture in the region will not materially suffer from a one year suspension. On the whole I think this is the right move but to present it as a result of our relationship with North Korea is very misguided.
decide what and how much of our participation to cut. Hopefully, it's not very much and we achieve the needed readiness, while at the same time giving the appearance of 'lowering the temperature there'...not running to place any bets though.
Irresponsible.
Korea by sending nuclear submarine to South Korea for the first time in half century and therefore breaking our promise: no any nuclear from U.S. side in Korea peninsula. It’s totally unnecessary and so provocative and so dangerous. It caused tension between the north and the south since then. I remember I posted about it back to 2023.
You guys are weirdo. You dare to risk a nuclear war with nuclear North Korea and nuclear Russia (Ukraine war). But you guys against a conventional war with non nuclear Iran. The only explanation is you just against anything done by Trump and support anything done by your party’s president, regardless of right or wrong decisions. Just partisan and no principle.
