How would the DSA tackle the 40T in national debt?
I mean... this money is owed to quintessential capitalists.
They've obviously been exploiting the "people" through usury.
If the state takes over the nation's finances maybe the DSA should simply cancel the debt?

They would spend a lot more. But they would also tax more.
Net negative, because the spending would increase by more than the taxes.
Trump has cut taxes and raised spending. Which has added enormous sums to the debt.
Also: there is no chance of DSA leaders running the country.
DSA Dems are shining a bright light on the working class, which keeps the party grounded, but beyond
that, the Moderate Dems will maintain control. Can only hope that the GOP sees the light and ditches MAGA types, while re-visiting 'Bipartisanship'....
