Lurking. A lot of family stuff and MD visits. I have a full shoulder replacement coming up. It
is my right shoulder and I am right handed. Posting with my right arm immobile for 6 weeks will be challenging.
Sorry to hear that LT. I had major shoulder surgery about 12 years ago...
It is essentially a new shoulder now and have had no problems after about 3 months of pretty intense rehab. Just a warning... rehab sucks in a major way, at least it did for me... I had to take some pretty heavy doses of Vicodin before every session just to handle the stretching to get my range of motion back. I would definitely do it again though because I am finally pain free... it had gotten to where I could do no physical activity with my arm without it being immobile for multiple days after the activity. Good luck, will be praying for you.

Basically grounded for 6 weeks except to see the surgeon. 12 weeks before any strength building
rehab. Up until then it will be restricted to range of motion PT. 6-8 months to get close to normal. One year total healing.
