1. I've always wanted to learn Chinese and maybe Japanese too.

2. they allow me to force feed my believs down others throats through war rather than being tolerant of different value systems

3. big business has my back as witnessed by the insurance, pharmaceutical, and oil industries

In all honesty, I have never voted domeocrtatic. I don't think either party has all the answers. But this year, Obama has my vote so long as Hillary is not on the ticket.

1. You own a home. Have you seen how people live in the rest of the world?
2. You own a car. Most of the world doesn't.
3. You own two or more TV's. Most of the world doesn't.
4. You own a washer dryer. Most of the world doesn't.
5. You own a closet full of clothes. About half the world have only the clothes on their backs
6. Your kids go to school
7. No one is trying to bomb you on the way to work
8. Your kids are safe from terrorists
9. You have a job.
10. You are free to move about the country, change jobs, change religions, etc
11. You can complain and no one tries to kills you.

You stand to lose those advantages if Obama wins because..

Obama will:
Raise Taxes:
Corporate income taxes will go up. The current USA corporate income tax rates are
already more than twice the world average, plus the individual States levy
income taxes with rates ranging up to 12%. Obama's grand plan will cause your
stocks, 401k, etc to go down. Further, Obama will drive investors offshore to
tax havens to escape taxes, resulting in more US job losses. Obuma needs to
think about attracting foreign investment to the USA to help create jobs.

Inheritance taxes will be brought back to a whopping 45%. Say good by to anything
you might ever inherit.

Individual income taxes will head higher. Obama is all over the board on this one.
He doesn't state what middle income means. A person making $60,000 in South Bend
needs to make $300,000 in Boston or NYC to maintain a similar lifestyle. Plan on
getting the shaft.

None of the liberties you mention in your original post are going away with Obama. We may or may not pay more taxes. And who knows what we will get for those additional taxes IF they increase.

I seem to recall living pretty well while Clinton was in office (dwespite despising the man) and the economy going to the crapper since the republicans took over.

So why should I believe that life will be so much better with the REP candidate getting elected?

in the USA, but Obama will increase social spending in an enormous way, like for :
1. Socialized medicine
2. Tax paid free education for all.
3. Huge increase in economic aid to Africa, plus his interest is using US troops to stop their wars.
4. And every social program you can think of.

The above programs, will add to the national debt and the cessation of the War, will not pay for these programs. It' ain't enough money. And the programs go on to forever.

But most importantly, Obama will make the world a less safe for US citizens and increases the chances of another war. Why: because he will be perceived as weak. Terrorists and Iran will be embolden to attack Israel and all other Western Countries. "Death to the Infidels" as they say. World conquest is their objective. Obama's objective is to get elected by telling Americans they can cower in the corner.
