My guess is the unreported cases are 20x the reported cases.
Governors can do what they can to backstop their hospitals and medical professionals.
Otherwise, let the river run.
Encourage citizens to get tested if visiting a vulnerable loved one. Encourage citizens to mask up when inside public buildings. Encourage citizens to quarantine if they experience cold like symptoms.
But, this wave will peak in two weeks. Public Health officials should find a way to statistically extrapolate the % of the herd who has immunity, and then recalibrate.

It would be a very big deal if only Feds managed every state's programs in response to the pandemic.

When I find someone who has made a serious mis-statement that leads the board away from the truth, I have no problem in calling it out...as in the case of Baron and his posting of that MIT Report that he loudly claimed said masks and social distancing didn't matter, when in actuality, it said exactly the opposite...or Baron's assertion that Biden's administration wasn't doing anything to stop cyber attacks on our energy grid...when in fact, 5 days before his post there was an announcement of a major policy effort by the administration to do exactly that...i.e. put serious money and effort into cyber security for the energy grid...and these are only two examples.
You, I and others know what's really going on here...I know you won't admit it, but such corrections rub you the wrong way and you'd really like to discredit the 'Fact Checker'...sorry, Bud, but that's not happening ;-).

It's always been up to the states to deliver the federal aid...those vaccines - which got
"Fast-Tracked" by Dr. Fauci on the very day Moderna completed its formulation (1/13/2020) - are delivered to you by your local county...I'm guessing a similar process will involve the feds getting test kits to the states and then on to the counties, etc, etc.
BTW, Operation "Warp Speed" was announced on 5/15/2020...FOUR MONTHS AFTER Dr. Fauci got the first government funded vaccine into Phase 1 trials...and TWO MONTHS after Donald Trump likened COVID-19 to a Democratic Party HOAX....get your facts straight....'Making America Great' has never been on Trump's list of things to do.

Ironically, based on the vaccines created under the prior admin, he felt like he defeated the virus without really doing anything.
Since then, almost nothing of significance has been done, (nor should it, IMO). But only 5/6 months from stopping just short of declaring victory, we get "nothing we can do at the federal level."
If not for the lingering stench of Trump, this would be the most unpopular, ineffective and incompetent POTUS in history, IMO.
Now, I don't care about the order that much, since I don't/didn't support either, but we can't continue to have consecutive candidates for most unpopular, ineffective, and incompetent...

I had to leave Florida to get it. Tested positive on Sunday, got the monoclonal
Antibodies and feel fine. No fever and very slight cough. Only thing I have is a minor headache.
