Detroit now has very decent law enforcement,
Detroit hit rock bottom on race baiting quite a while ago and is now decently governed. But you make a great suggestion. New York would really benefit if it went thru bankruptcy like Detroit did.

It certainly a good thing that the left never goes too far.
I mean they would never ever ever decriminalize murder at least not for certain groups. That's inconceivable! I mean there's such a massive distance between armed robbery and murder, armed robbery being traditionally what was considered the next most serious violent crime underneath murder. We we need only look back to 2020 and the assaults on statues and government buildings to see how reasonable these sophisticated, enlightened, intelligent folks on the left can set limits, when they stop firm with Confederate statues, as was predicted by one of the resident geniuses here.
So no sir, we will never see anyone on the left proposing abolition of prisons and eliminating prosecutions of murder when perpetrated by particular groups. No sir!
